Aerata B.V. and NCC Ltd. have announced a new collaboration to provide improved ecological monitoring and research technology to conserve biodiversity, protect the natural environment, and promote sustainable management of living resources.
Through their combined expertise, Aerata’s aerial surveying and digital mapping services will support NCC’s Ecological Impact Assessments, helping to ensure compliance with PR6: Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Management.
Nature Conservation Consultants – NCC is a Greek company specializing in ecological surveys on land and sea. Together with Biotopia, a specialized company in marine mammals surveys, they can provide integrated biodiversity services in the marine environment.
With its partnership with Waardenburg Ecology BV and WaterProof BV, internationally known suppliers of offshore wind farm ecological services/technologies, NCC brings highly sophisticated ecological expertise into Greece (e.g., ornithological radar, 3D radar, hydrophones, hydroacoustic surveys, underwater drones, eDNA), for future projects.
This new venture promises excellent strides in natural resources and marks an essential milestone in biodiversity assessment studies in the country.
